HeatMap is intended for people aged 18 and older. HeatMap does not currently verify every user’s age or identity.

Browse the map, view nearby venues, or use club search when you already know the venue name.

Search for the person by their HeatMap username. If they do not appear, confirm the spelling and ask them to share their exact username.

Public profiles may make supported profile activity visible more broadly. Interactions from private profiles are visible only to friends. Your profile choice does not make your email address public.

No. HeatMap does not publicly display your email address.

Yes. A HeatMap profile may use a real name, nickname, or pseudonym, provided it does not impersonate or mislead others.

Open your profile and use the available profile-editing controls. The exact labels may change as HeatMap is refined; contact support if a field cannot be updated.

First confirm your internet connection and the account details you are using. Reopen and update the app. If access still fails, choose “Account access” in the support form and describe what you see. Do not include your password.

Location can help HeatMap show nearby venues and determine whether the Inside action is available during valid venue or event hours.

Yes. You can disable location sharing, although nearby discovery and other location-dependent features may be limited or unavailable.

When location visibility is enabled, shared location is limited to friends. HeatMap does not present your exact location publicly to strangers.

Yes. You can disable location visibility. You can also manage HeatMap’s device-location permission in iOS; disabling permission may limit nearby and Inside features.

Confirm location permission and Location Services are enabled, check your connection, reopen the app, and make sure you are within the currently supported city. Contact support if the issue continues.

No. The map may show aggregated friend-going information. It does not publicly display every user’s exact location or provide a complete live list of everyone at a venue.

Going means you intend to attend a specific event.

Maybe means you are considering attending a specific event.

Inside means a user checked in while near the venue during valid venue or event hours.

No. Inside indicates that a user checked in during the valid event or venue period. HeatMap does not currently confirm exactly when every user leaves, so Inside should not be treated as exact real-time occupancy.

The venue or event may be outside active hours, you may be too far from the venue, location permission may be disabled, the device may not have a reliable location, or a temporary network issue may be present.

Going, Maybe, and Inside interactions belong to a specific event.

Event interactions disappear from active discovery after the event ends.

Use the support form and choose “Incorrect event information.” Include the venue, event name, date, and the detail that appears wrong. Venues do not currently manage every listing directly.

Friends may see the profile, event activity, and friend-only location signals supported by your current visibility choices. Location visibility can be disabled separately.

Interactions from a private profile are visible only to friends. Your email address is not publicly displayed.

Yes. Use blocking for unwanted contact. Blocking is separate from reporting, so report behavior as well when it is abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

HeatMap supports direct messages, permanent club chats, and event-specific chats.

Club chats are permanent and available at all times.

HeatMap supports event-specific chats. A manually entered event may not yet have an active or populated conversation.

Not necessarily. HeatMap does not currently confirm club-representative accounts, so do not treat a club chat as an official venue channel.

Yes. Event links can be shared in supported chats.

No. HeatMap does not currently advertise live-location sharing through chat.

Do not engage if you feel unsafe. Block and report the user, preserve relevant details, and contact HeatMap Support for serious concerns. Contact local emergency services if there is immediate danger.

Save preferred venues so they are easier to revisit from your profile.

Favorite venues are easier to find again and may generate relevant event notifications.

Check iOS notification permission for HeatMap, confirm the venue is still a favorite, review Focus or Do Not Disturb settings, and restart the app. Contact support if notifications still do not arrive.

You can control whether iOS allows HeatMap notifications. More granular in-app notification controls have not been confirmed.
