HeatMap is built for nightlife discovery and social coordination. Treat other people as people, respect boundaries, and use the app in ways that make venue and event conversations more useful—not more intimidating.
Respect and consent
- Do not harass, threaten, shame, discriminate against, stalk, or sexually pressure anyone.
- Respect a clear “no,” a block, and another person’s decision not to reply or meet.
- Do not publish private conversations, personal information, or someone’s location without permission.
- Do not encourage violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
Be authentic
- Nicknames and pseudonyms are allowed, but impersonation and deceptive accounts are not.
- Do not falsely claim to represent a club, venue, organizer, or HeatMap.
- Do not deliberately submit false reports, fake event information, or misleading attendance signals.
Keep content lawful and appropriate
- Do not share illegal content, exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or instructions for serious harm.
- Do not spam, scam, phish, sell prohibited goods, or distribute malware.
- Do not use HeatMap to facilitate underage access to nightlife venues or events.
Adults only
HeatMap is intended only for people aged 18 and older. HeatMap does not currently verify every person’s age or identity. Report an account if you reasonably believe the user is under 18.
Blocking, reports, and evidence
Block unwanted contact and report conduct that is abusive, unsafe, illegal, or deceptive. Include enough context to understand the concern, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
For serious concerns, use the “Safety concern” topic in HeatMap Support. Contact local emergency services first when danger is immediate.
How violations may be handled
HeatMap may remove content or restrict, suspend, or remove an account when these guidelines, the Terms, safety, or law require it. Reviews may consider severity, context, repeat conduct, available evidence, and risk to others.
