How to request deletion
HeatMap does not currently publish a confirmed in-app deletion path. To request deletion, open the support form, choose “Account deletion,” and include:
- Your name.
- The email address connected with the request.
- Your HeatMap username, if available.
- A clear statement that you want the account deleted.
Do not include your password.
Verification
HeatMap may ask for limited additional information to confirm that the request concerns your account. This protects accounts from unauthorized deletion. If the request cannot be verified using the information provided, the team will explain what is still needed.
What the request covers
A verified deletion request covers the account and personal information tied to it, subject to information that must be retained for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, dispute handling, or the rights of others. Content shared with other users may no longer identify the deleted account but can remain where needed to preserve conversation or report integrity.
What happens next
After the delivery system is connected, HeatMap Support will acknowledge a received request and explain any verification or processing steps. This page does not promise a response deadline that has not been operationally confirmed.
Other data requests
If you want access or correction rather than deletion, choose “Data or privacy request” in the support form. Read the Privacy Policy for an overview of information and choices.
Account access or safety issue
For unauthorized account access, choose “Account access.” For harassment or danger, block and report the user and choose “Safety concern.” Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
